New recycling process for lithium-ion batteries

The Institute for Intelligent Industrial Systems (I3S) at the Berner Fachhochschule BFH, in collaboration with LIBREC, Empa the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne Ltd., recently launched a new Innosuisse research project in order to develop and optimize an existing recycling process for used lithium-ion batteries.
