New recycling process for lithium-ion batteries
The Institute for Intelligent Industrial Systems (I3S) at the Berner Fachhochschule BFH, in collaboration with LIBREC, Empa the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne Ltd., recently launched a new Innosuisse research project in order to develop and optimize an existing recycling process for used lithium-ion batteries.

The Institute of Information Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) is promoting the circular skill economy: from February 2022 onwards, the Swiss Higher Education Institutions EHB, EPFL, UZH, ZHAW, as well as the HSG, will be working on the development of the Swiss Circular Economy of Skills and Competences (SCESC).
